How to select your Lorentz Solar Bore Pump
Step 1.Select your source of water.
Water supply can be obtained from a water bore, tank, dam, creek or river.
The diameter of the bore casing, the depth of the pumping water level and the availability of direct sunlight will have an affect on the selection. |
Step 2.Determine your supply and demand.
Selection of the pump and panels is based on the flow available and the required volume of water to be delivered per hour or day.
|
Step 3.Identify the best pump and panels to meet your requirements.
Once you have established the maximum diameter of the pump, the required flow rate and head pressure a selection tool or chart can be utilized to select the pump and panels. Ensure the location selected has access to sunlight to power the pump.
Storage of pumped water is usually required. The solar bore pump will pump water only while sunlight is available. It is more efficient to store water than it is to store electricity.
